The County of Hawaii Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) will begin its solicitation process for the AHP Program. As required by the AHP Administrative Rules, the OHCD will hold two public meetings to gather community input on the needs and priorities for affordable housing in the County of Hawaiʻi.

The information gathered from these public meetings will be used to help shape the goals and priorities for the FY2024-25 AHP funding cycle. Additionally, input received will be considered for the upcoming 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan (CP) for the use of future federal funds. The OHCD encourages its citizens, especially persons of low- and moderate-income, minorities, non-English speaking persons, and persons with disabilities to participate in these public meetings.
